Find answers to the most common questions about my services, consultations, nutrition approach, and how I work. If you need anything else, feel free to contact me directly.
A: I specialise in three core areas: sustainable weight loss, sports nutrition, and clinical nutrition. I create personalised, evidence-based plans that support long-term weight management, optimise sports performance, and address a wide range of health-related goals or medical conditions. My approach is practical, realistic, and fully tailored to your individual needs.
A: Yes. I offer flexible consultation options to suit your lifestyle and location. Sydney residents can see me in person at my Bondi Junction private clinic. I also offer online consultations via FaceTime or phone call. My aim is to make consultations seamless and accessible wherever you are.
A: No. Strict diets are not sustainable and often lead to burnout, rebound eating, or frustration. Instead, we build a plan that aligns with your lifestyle, routines, culture, schedule, preferences, and goals. Your plan will focus on structure, balance, behaviour change, and long-term sustainability—not restriction.
A: Every client is unique. Timeframes depend on your goals, current nutrition and lifestyle patterns, medical and metabolic factors, stress, sleep, and overall consistency. There is no one-size-fits-all timeline. My role is to design the right number of sessions to help you reach your goals, while providing ongoing coaching for accountability and direction. I’m here to support you at every step, so you can achieve—and maintain—your optimal health with confidence and consistency.
A: Yes—I offer both single sessions and long‑term packages. Single sessions are ideal for one‑off assessments or creating an initial plan, while packages ranging from 2 to 12 months provide the structure for ongoing accountability, behaviour change, and deeper support. Every option is fully personalised, and together we’ll select the approach that best aligns with your goals and needs.

A:
Initial Consultation (60 Minutes): $220 AUD
Extended Subsequent Follow Up Consultations (45 Minutes): $165.00 AUD
Check In Follow-Up Consultations (30 minutes): $110 AUD
Nutrition Packages pricing varies depending on the length of the package. Longer packages provide greater value per session and enhanced accountability.
A: The initial consultation is structured, detailed, and highly personalised. In the first 45 minutes, I conduct a full investigation into your nutrition, exercise habits, lifestyle behaviours, medical history, and everything outlined in your intake forms. We identify what’s working, what needs improvement, and pinpoint the areas that will create the greatest impact. Together, we set clear short- and long-term goals. The final 15 minutes is dedicated to creating your personalised nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle action plan—precise, realistic, and tailored to your unique circumstances.
A: No preparation is required. Once you book, you will receive a detailed 11 page intake form that provides all the information needed to begin the consultation with a complete understanding of your situation. If you have medical tests, pathology results, DEXA scans, or blood work, sending them beforehand is extremely helpful.
A: I work with clients of all ages—from teenagers to elderly adults. Age is never a barrier to tailored nutrition. Plans are always customised to suit your stage of life, lifestyle, and health needs.
A: Yes. Couples are welcome to work with me; however, each person receives their own individualised plan and therefore needs their own initial consultation. Follow-up sessions may be done together if goals align and it is helpful.
A: Yes. I work with children and adolescents, with parents closely involved to ensure the plan is practical, safe, and appropriate for the child’s age, development, and routines.
A: Yes. I work with clients worldwide through online consultations. Time zones are easily managed, and all forms, communication, and personalised plans are delivered electronically.
A: Absolutely. Package selection depends on your budget, your goals, and the level of accountability and support you prefer. Everything is flexible and tailored to what works best for you.
A: It’s entirely optional. Some clients thrive with data, while others find it unhelpful or stressful. We decide together based on what best supports your progress, mental wellbeing, and consistency.
A: Clients keep a detailed diary that includes nutrition, hydration, exercise, lifestyle habits, stress patterns, and daily behaviours. This helps identify obstacles, track progress, and make precise adjustments to keep you moving forward.
A: I provide a personalised plan, tailored strategies, ongoing adjustments, accountability, and structured support. I walk with you step by step, ensuring clarity, consistency, and momentum throughout your entire journey.
A: Yes. I offer unlimited text message support between sessions so that you’re never left waiting if an urgent question arises. This helps maintain progress and provides reassurance when you need it most.
A: Absolutely. You’re welcome to reach out at any time on +61 435 665 779 or contact myself via email at jake@jakebiggs.com.au with questions before booking. I want you to feel comfortable and confident before beginning.
A: No. I do not use calorie counting because research shows it can trigger or worsen disordered eating behaviours. My approach focuses on structure, portion balance, habit formation, and sustainable planning—creating a far healthier and more lasting relationship with food.
