Your first consultation is 60 minutes. Jake conducts a comprehensive clinical assessment covering your current nutrition, health history, lifestyle, and goals. He analyses your macronutrient intake, meal timing, hydration, and any relevant blood work, then delivers a detailed, personalised nutrition blueprint. Your plan is included in the consultation fee, with no additional charges.

You will not be placed on a strict meal plan. Nutrition coaching is built around a structured, clinically informed framework that adapts to your lifestyle, your physiology, your food preferences and your daily routines.

The goal is to create long‑term nutrition patterns that you can maintain in real life rather than prescribing rigid meals that only work on paper. You learn how to make decisions across different environments, social settings and schedules so you can eat flexibly while still progressing.

The focus is on metabolic health, behavioural change, appetite regulation, hormonal support and sustainable habit formation. A strict meal plan would limit your ability to develop these skills, so instead you receive guidance that teaches you how to eat confidently and consistently in any situation.

Most people need between four and eight sessions. The exact number depends on your goals, your starting point, your metabolic and hormonal profile, and how much structure you prefer. Some clients progress quickly with a short block of sessions focused on assessment, strategy and behaviour change. Others benefit from ongoing support so patterns can stabilise, appetite regulation improves, metabolic markers settle, and long‑term consistency becomes easier.

Yes. Coaching is available both online and in person. You can work with Jake face to face at his Bondi Junction practice, or online via FaceTime or phone if you prefer the convenience of remote sessions or live outside Sydney. The online format delivers the same level of clinical assessment, personalisation and support as in‑clinic consultations, so you can choose whichever option fits your routine and location.

Yes. Nutrition coaching is covered by selective private health insurance for eligible Australian residents. Rebates depend on your individual fund and your level of extras cover. Most clients receive a rebate for each consultation, whether the session is completed in person or online.
